lines in motion
First graders learned about lines in a different way. They learned about how to use line to show that something is moving. They also learned what a silhouette is and how to do a drawing of something in silhouette form with no detail. They choose something that moves like a shooting star, person, car etc. and then drew it on a black piece of paper and cut it out. They then glued it onto a big white piece of paper in the proper spot as to what the object is. They drew at least five different typed of lines coming from their object to show that its “moving”. They then added shapes with oil pastel and color with bleeding tissue paper and water.
