lines and Primary colors
Kindergarten learned about the element of line and primary colors within this project. We first read the book “Lines that Wiggle” and talked about all different types of line, how lines are everywhere and how we need lines in art. We then drew lines as a class with black oil pastel on white paper, I drew a line then they drew the same line but wherever they wanted on their paper, hence why they are all so different. We then read the book “Mouse Paint” and talked about primary colors and why they are so important and we also started to talk about the secondary colors and how to make them using primary. They then painted each shape they made with their lines a different primary color until their whole paper was complete!
